It ends up Nik Antropov didn't make the trip to Columbus with the Maple Leafs yesterday after all. The plan was to take the injured forward, who is close to returning from a sprained ankle, so that he could skate with the team there this morning. But Antropov skated on his own again yesterday and, because of subsequent swelling in his leg, was kept at home.

"He's making good progress again. We're at a point were we can push him but I still think he's a week away anyway," said coach Paul Maurice.

Antropov will meet with the team's medical staff tomorrow and he may get clearance at that point to resume practising with the team.
