"Филадельфия" отправила российского форварда Рубцова в аренду в "Сочи" 23 августа 2020 года. Tass.ru ТАСС, 24 августа. Российский форвард клуба Национальной хоккейной лиги (НХЛ) "Филадельфия" Герман Рубцов отдан в аренду в клуб Континентальной хоккейной лиги (КХЛ) "Сочи". Об этом сообщает "Газета.Ru" со ссылкой на пресс-службу "Филадельфии". Аренда 22-летнего нападающего рассчитана до начала следующего сезона НХЛ. "Филадельфия" выбрала россиянина на драфте-2016 в первом раунде под общим 22-м номером. В этом сезоне он дебютировал в НХЛ и провел 4 матча, в которых не отметился результативными действиями. В фарм-клубе в Американской хоккейной лиге (АХЛ) Рубцов провел 42 матча и набрал 13 (2+11) очков. With the uncertainty of both the NHL and AHL’s next season, teams around the league have been loaning their younger players back overseas. The Flyers have added another to their list as German Rubtsov is heading to Sochi of the KHL. That makes three Flyers prospects who will begin the season elsewhere. David Kase was loaned to the Czech Republic almost two weeks ago. Linus Sandin was loaned to the Swedish league at the beginning of the month. The players will be allowed to come back whenever the next season is set to begin. But for now, this will allow these players to stay in game shape while they wait. Rubtsov was on the Flyers Phase 3 training camp roster. However, the team decided to not bring him along to Toronto. It wasn’t a surprising transaction. Rubtsov has little NHL experience and had other players ahead of him on the depth chart. He made his NHL debut this season, appearing in just four games. He spent a large majority of the season with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. It wasn’t necessarily a solid year for him, though it wasn’t a good season overall for the team. Rubtsov posted two goals and 13 points in 42 games. This was considered to be his rookie season despite him appeared in 14 games a year ago. That season was cut short by a shoulder injury. Things had looked promised with six goals and 10 points. So while Rubtsov did come into this season with some promise, the team has a whole vastly underperformed. What we can deduce from the sample size is that Rubtsov may tend to be a playmaker more often than not. But he do has the ability to put up goals. There’s hope that he will settle into a more defined role next season. Time will tell if this past season can just be chalked up to a rookie trying to find his place. And hopefully the Phantoms as a whole are able to put out a better effort than they did this last season. |
